Drawing upon ancient illumination techniques learned through years of study in Istanbul, illuminist Raquy Danziger creates luminous ketubot that combine traditional craftsmanship with fine art.
Together we will create a special ketubah that reflects who you are as a couple and becomes a treasured work of art for your home.
Choose either a professionally printed text or, for an additional fee, hand calligraphy by master scribe Izzy Pludwinski, author of The Beauty of the Hebrew Letter , written in Jerusalem.
You may commission an entirely new design, adapt one of my existing ketubah designs, or request a "ketubah makeover" incorporating artwork from a cherished family ketubah.
The Process
1. Request a Quote
Fill out the inquiry form and tell me about your vision, wedding date, and any ideas you'd like to incorporate.
2. Approve Your Design
I will create a custom digital mockup of your ketubah for your review and approval before painting begins.
3. Hand Painted & Illuminated
Your ketubah will be hand painted and gilded with genuine gold using traditional techniques and archival materials.
4. Delivery
Within approximately two months of ordering, your finished ketubah will be carefully packaged and shipped to your door. Worldwide shipping is included.
