Raquy Danziger is an American musician artist who fell in love with Middle Eastern music and art and lived in Istanbul for over a decade in order to immerse herself in these art forms.

Join her for an intimate gathering where she will present her exotic musical instruments and artwork.

Her presentation will include:

• Describing her experience as the only non- Turkish student studying at the Islamic Art Academy in Istanbul

• Introduction to Islamic Illuminated Art

• Describing her instruments and her experience training on the darbuka drum in Istanbul

• Raquy will perform playing the darbuka drum and the exotic King Kemenche 12 string spike fiddle.

• Book signing of her Decadent Vegan cookbook
